Looks beautiful, modern and spectacular!! Made of heavy solid wood Panels and metal bordering. Eileen Gray was one of the leading designers working in Paris after WWI. Gray was responsible for perfecting the art of lacquered furniture, she favoured exotic materials with clean smooth finishes, like those used in Japanese decorative arts. In her earlier designs, it was apparent that she had a fascination with moving parts much like the folding screen featured here.
