Complete early 1950s blond oak bedroom set. Recently refinished to a like-new condition. "Man's" highboy dresser, "Woman's" dresser with original mirror, two tiered nightstands with two drawers each, double-size bed frame with headboard, footboard and wood rails that are part of the design and match. All drawers are dovetailed. The man's and woman's interior drawers solid oak. Dividers and sliding tray for jewelry, small personal items exist in man's top drawer. Original brass handles that were removed and polished.
Set is simply stunning. Belonged to my parents in Long Beach, Calif. since 1952, and when my mother died in 2017, @ 90 years old, I wanted to preserve this set because of its quality (an not necessarily because of sentimentality). It certainly should not have gone to a thrift store. It went to a top refinisher.
Please send me your questions. The set is a must-see. [Photos include two sofa tables that are NOT included in the set.] The caveat is that you would have to drive to Bakersfield to view it/pick it up. I live in Oregon and would rather not ship the set to my house. Thanks, Roberta
