Design Plus Gallery presents a Wavy Sculpture Metal Grid Fireplace Screen. A sculptural veil that turns the hearth into a stage of light and shadow. A disciplined lattice of metal is coaxed into a slow, cresting wave, bending orthogonal order into motion. Each square cell elongates and compresses as the surface undulates, so the fire behind it is seen through shifting facetsflame becomes a series of glints, ribbons, and pulses. Handformed rods meet at crisp, welded nodes, then are planished and patinated to a satin depth that holds warmth even when the fire is cold. In use, the grid throws moir shadows across the floor and walls, a living drawing that swells and recedes with every flicker. Seen from different angles, the profile thickens and thins, suggesting a shoreline, a breath, a held note. In good condition, visible and minor wear from usage.
