Designed by Gastone Rinaldi in 1954 under the name DU55P and now reissued by Poltrona Frau as Letizia, this armchair distills the creative energy of its era into a timeless silhouette. Sensual, flowing lines trace a light, sculptural shell, while the interplay of full and airy volumes gives the piece a refined, weightless presence. Slender, tapering legs meet the body with a perfectly tuned grace, adding poise without sacrificing comfort. Beneath the beauty lies thoughtful engineering. A steel frame is wrapped in molded polyurethane foam, with elastic belts in both seat and back to create a springy, responsive sitwelcoming, supportive, and subtly elastic where you need it most. Upholstered in a luxurious Mid Night Blue Velvet and set on four chromefinished metal legs, Letizia brings a sophisticated touch to living rooms, lounges, and reading corners alike.
