Design Plus Gallery presents an LED Dew Drop Chandelier by Boris Klimek For Bomma. This chandelier has spherical mouthblown crystals arranged along handsewn leather bands. The design captures water droplets on grass blades, with each internally lit crystal sphere showing hints of iridescence. The flexible bands enable the orbs to be positioned in various configurations, while steel hardware provides secure mounting points. Light filters through the crystal spheres, which attach securely to the sewn bands in patterns that can be adjusted or reconfigured over time. This modular approach allows the composition to evolve based on spatial needs. It is in good, showroom like condition with minimal wear for its usage. Made in Czechia.
About the Designer:
Boris Klimek graduated in studies of Product and Conceptual Design on Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague / AAAD Prague /. During his studies he attended interships in England / Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield /, Slovakia / Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava / or in product design studios in Prague led by designers Michal Fronk and Jan Nmeek / Olgoj Chorchoj /. Boris has been awarded a number of awards for his product design. Currently he works in Prague, where he focus on product and interior design. In his work he tries to find a certain conceptual overlaps, games and stories. He tries to make his products not only functional but mostly poetic, playful and able to stimulate the human imagination and emotions.
