Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Ankara Chairs from Crate Barrel. The chairs were designed to be appreciated from every angle. They offer an intricate open curve of handcut and handpieced hardwood that opens up to an artistic and architectural 360degree view in the living room. The chairs geometric barrel design is inspired by Indonesian mosaics and handcrafted by the islands skilled artisans of solid ash with a walnut finish. Their handwoven tropical cane seats hosts a comfortable thick seat cushion, upholstered in a heavyweight blend of rayon, flax, and cotton that yields slight luster. This style of chair is no longer in production with the brand. Visible wear to the cushions is present but overall they are in good condition for their usage.
