San Francisco Meat Co. is looking to employ 2 full-time or part-time Service Clerks for our butcher shop located in the heart of San Francisco. We are family owned and proud to work closely with vendors, customers, and our internal team to provide the highest quality meat and the most trusted customer service.
Service clerks will be responsible for weighing, wrapping, and pricing meat for customers. Clerks will work directly with customers and must have great customer service skills.
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Providing customers with helpful, friendly, and prompt service
• Department sales growth with suggestive sales
• Maintains company and food safety guidelines sanitation and refrigeration standards
• Prepares and displays product quality and appearance
• Product knowledge (cooking methods-recipes-signature items)
• Performs opening and closing procedures to company and food safety guidelines standards with respect to sanitation, display and handling responsibilities.
• Maintains ordering and receiving standards by communication and follow through with department manager
• Works within company programs, policies, and procedures
• Prep ingredients for sandwiches
• Make sandwiches
• Sell and wrap met from the case
• Check out customers
• Other duties as assigned
Hourly Rate:
• $21.00 + tips
