John’s Grill, a legendary San Francisco institution since 1908, is the city’s oldest steakhouse and a favorite among celebrities, locals, and visitors alike. Known for our expertly prepared steaks, fresh seafood, top-tier service, and vibrant atmosphere featuring live jazz nightly, we are one of the most successful restaurants in the city, serving 300 to 600 guests per night.

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Front of House team members, including servers, bartenders, and hosts, to join our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For:

Bartending experience is a must.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a full-service, casual fine dining restaurant

• Hospitality-Driven Mindset: Warm, welcoming attitude and a passion for guest experiences

• Food, Wine & Cocktail Knowledge: Strong understanding of menus, classics, and pairings, or willingness to learn

• Composure & Multitasking: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with poise

• Team-Oriented Attitude: Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Detail-Oriented Work Ethic: Excellent organization and attention to detail

• Flexible Availability: Nights and weekends required
