Lily is a modern Vietnamese restaurant located in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond neighborhood. Our cuisine highlights bold Vietnamese flavors paired with high-quality seasonal California ingredients in a thoughtfully designed space by Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors. Lily has been recognized as one of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Top 100 Restaurants.
We are seeking experienced servers who are passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position is best suited for candidates with strong full-service restaurant experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. We are looking for candidates who are interested in building their skills in hospitality and contributing to a long-term team environment.
Position Details
Position: Server (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Full-Time:
• 4–5 shifts per week
• Approximately 30–40 hours per week
Part-Time:
• 2–3 shifts per week
• Evening and weekend availability required
Responsibilities
• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service throughout the dining experience
• Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, beverages, and specials
• Describe menu items and wine pairings to guests when appropriate
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
• Work collaboratively with hosts, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
• Maintain clean and organized service stations
• Assist teammates to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
We are primarily seeking candidates with strong serving experience in full-service restaurants.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant
• Ability to manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Basic wine knowledge and ability to guide guests through wine selections preferred
• Experience with POS systems (Toast or similar) preferred
• Familiarity with OpenTable or reservation systems is a plus
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
