LEAD LINE COOK at SŌHN (Dogpatch, San Francisco)
$22–25/hour DOE + tips
Morning & Afternoon Availability Required | Part-Time & Full-Time Available
SŌHN is a daytime café and creative community space rooted in Korean American culture, craftsmanship, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for a Lead Line Cook to help guide the BOH team and uphold strong standards across prep and service.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the line during service with clear, calm communication
- Execute dishes with consistency and precision, ensuring quality and timing standards
- Support with daily prep and maintain an organized, efficient kitchen environment
- Help train and support new BOH team members on recipes, systems, and workflow
- Work closely with management to uphold food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Morning + afternoon availability (required)
- 2–3+ years of professional kitchen experience; leadership experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and an understanding of line flow and kitchen systems
- A steady, positive communicator who can guide others without ego
- Reliability, professionalism, and pride in your work
- Curiosity about Korean or Korean American flavors is a plus (not required)
