What You’ll Do
As a Team Member at Foodhall, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint. From welcoming guests to preparing food and beverages to supporting retail and online customers, you’ll be at the heart of what makes Foodhall special.
During a typical shift, you’ll rotate across different areas of the store, giving you the chance to learn and grow across all facets of our business:
-Be a Host - Connecting with our guests always comes first. A warm hello, a thoughtful thank you, or a great recommendation can make all the difference.
-Café & Coffee - We take food and coffee seriously. You’ll prepare and serve our café menu, drawing on your barista skills and working both in the kitchen and on bar.
-Merchandising - Create a visually inspiring retail experience through stocking, organizing, and maintaining our shelves.
-eCommerce - Ensure a fast, accurate, and seamless experience for online order prep, pickup, and delivery.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience across all areas of a specialty café and market, while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
-Greet and welcome customers, ensuring every interaction feels warm and genuine.
-Support in-store and online customers with a focus on excellent service.
-Act as a Foodhall brand ambassador, sharing knowledge of our products, makers, and values.
-Assist fellow team members to keep operations running smoothly.
-Receive and stock product deliveries, maintaining organized inventory.
-Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and café menu items to Foodhall standards.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café and retail space.
-Operate the register and process transactions accurately.
-Ensure visual merchandising is on point and inventory processes are followed.
-Oversee ecommerce pickups and deliveries with speed and accuracy.
-Complete opening and closing procedures with precision as a trusted key holder.
-Step into other areas of the store as business needs arise.
What We’re Looking For
-Prior barista experience (1 year minimum) in a quality-focused coffee program.
-Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
-Outgoing and personable - enjoys connecting with people.
-Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
-Passion for high-quality food, beverages, and artisanal products.
-Dependable, punctual, and available for early mornings and weekends.
-Previous leadership or supervisory experience (café/retail a plus).
-Willingness to complete additional training and required certifications.
-Weekend and evening availability required.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry boxes up and down stairs.
