The Sausage Factory is a long-standing Italian American restaurant in the heart of the Castro, proudly serving San Francisco since 1968. With increased volume in the neighborhood, we’re looking to add a strong **experienced server** to our front-of-house team.
This position is for someone who already knows how to serve. We are not looking to train on the basics—only to get the right person familiar with our menu, steps of service, and house standards.
**Requirements (non-negotiable):**
* **Prior serving experience required**
* **Sunday availability is a must**
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Comfortable handling a section independently
* Works well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Self-motivated and proactive about learning the menu and offerings
**This role is not a fit for someone who:**
* Frequently calls off or is unreliable
* Needs constant direction to stay on task
* Struggles to keep up during busy shifts
**Details:**
* **3–5 shifts per week**, depending on business needs and server availability
* Open **Tuesday through Sunday**
* Nights required
