Casual and fast paced restaurant is looking for a part time Host/hostess
Position Overview
As the hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience. You’ll greet and seat customers with warmth, manage waitlists, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations. Your goal is to make every guest feel welcome and well-cared for.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage table seating and waitlists using manual tracking
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the entrance and host area
• Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests updated
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen to optimize seating flow
• Assist with light duties such as resetting tables or delivering beverages as needed
Qualifications
• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, approachable, and professional communication style
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic knowledge of French cuisine or willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends
