Charismatic Street Team – Hand Out Flyers for Community Event ($21/hr, Same‑Day Pay)
We’re looking for charismatic, compassionate, intuitive people to hand out flyers on busy streets in San Francisco for multiple upcoming community‑centered event. You’ll be meeting people where they are, treating each interaction as a real human moment, and sharing about the event and the mission of the center hosting it in a grounded, authentic way.
This gig is focused specifically in:
North Beach
Jackson Square
Chinatown
Northern Financial District
Telegraph Hill
This is ideal if you:
Naturally see strangers as full people with their own stories and are curious about them
Are kind, grounded, and able to sense when someone wants to talk and when they don’t
Are willing to learn about the event and the hosting center so you can speak to the mission, not just hand out paper
Are punctual, reliable, and able to stay present and upbeat on your feet
What you’ll be doing:
Handing flyers directly to people in high‑foot‑traffic areas in the neighborhoods listed above
Having short but meaningful conversations that respect each person’s time and context
Sharing what the event is about, why it exists, and what the host center is trying to bring into the world
Being a warm, welcoming presence in public space, even when someone just wants to smile and keep walking
Compensation and perks:
Pay: $21/hour to start (above SF minimum wage)
Pilot is same‑day pay for completed shifts
If you’re especially effective, we’re open to collaborating on future gigs with compensation that reflects your impact
Free entry to the event you’re promoting so you can experience what you’re inviting people into
Details:
Location: North Beach, Jackson Square, Chinatown, Northern Financial District, and Telegraph Hill only
Shifts: 3–5 hours, mostly afternoons and early evenings
Dates: In the weeks leading up to the event (specific dates shared after you apply)
This is a short‑term, event‑based gig, with potential for more work if it’s a great fit
