Whisker & Tail Co. is a San Francisco-based maker of premium dehydrated dog treats (as shown above). We are seeking a commission-only Sales Representative to help expand our wholesale presence in the Bay Area. If you’re hungry to earn fast and love dogs, read on – this flexible 1099 independent contractor role lets you be your own boss while selling a product pets and store owners will love.

Fast Earnings: Earn $150 per new account you bring on board – paid in two $75 installments after the account’s first and second orders (each order $250 minimum). No cap on commissions – sign 10 accounts, that’s $1,500 in your pocket, with potential for much more!

Great Product & Support: You’ll represent a high-quality, all-natural dog treat line that practically sells itself. (Dogs will drag their owners back for more!) We provide product training, marketing materials, and samples to help you impress prospects. You’ll have everything you need to succeed – except an alarm clock.
Your Mission:
Grow Our Retail Family: Prospect and sign up local pet stores, groomers, vet clinics, and other retailers to carry Whisker & Tail Co. treats. You’ll mainly focus on the SF Bay Area market – tapping into the huge demand for premium pet products.
Hustle & Close: Visit shops, make cold calls, network at pet events – whatever it takes to get our treats on shelves. You find the leads, pitch the product, and close the deal. Once the first order is in, you’ve earned your first commission installment; after the second order, you get the rest.
Build Lasting Relationships: Encourage reorders and ensure new accounts have a great experience (happy clients lead to that second order and your full commission). Then keep hunting for the next account – the more new stores you land, the more you earn, with no limits.

Connected in the Pet World (a Plus): Do you have contacts in pet retail or experience in the pet industry? That’s a bonus. If not, no worries – enthusiasm for pets and sales is what truly matters here. (Pet lovers will have an easier time selling these treats!)

Whisker & Tail Co. is a fast-growing, family-run brand specializing in 100% natural, dehydrated dog treats that dogs go crazy for. From crunchy carrot slices to fish chews and chicken feet, our treats are single-ingredient and additive-free – a healthy, locally made alternative that pet stores are proud to stock. We’re currently online and in a few shops, and now we want you to help explode our presence across the Bay Area. You’ll be representing a product that earns 5-star reviews and wagging tails – a true conversation starter with store owners who care about quality.
Compensation Details:
$150 per new wholesale account, paid out as $75 after the account’s first paid order and another $75 after the second order (each order must be at least $250). This ensures you’re rewarded not just for signing a account, but for helping us secure a repeat order
(Most stores will easily hit the $250 minimum; that’s just a sample order or two!)
Quick Payouts: Commission installments are paid immediately after each qualifying order is received and paid. No waiting until month-end or quarter-end – you close a deal, you get paid, simple as that.
No Caps, No Draws: There’s no limit to how much you can earn, and we won’t claw anything back. Every account you land is pure commission. We don’t do “draws” or complicated formulas – just a straightforward per-account bonus so you know exactly what you’ll earn.
(Please note: This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You’ll be responsible for your own taxes, etc. We do not offer a base salary or benefits – the upside is all in your commissions.)
