We are looking for a Facilities Manager for PW Clubhaus, an multi-purpose event venue located at 255 9th Street, San Francisco.
As the Facilities Manager, you are responsible in making sure that the venue and its facilities are on-top shape for events and remains well-maintained when not in use.
What you’ll do:
-Oversee operations of the venue including troubleshooting of any issues in the facility, finding and managing of staff for maintenance and repairs
-Serve as the main point of contact for clients leasing the venue to coordinate schedule for viewing, venue availability, requirements, etc .
-Ensure that the venue is always well-maintained and is top condition before leasing
-Be on-site to oversee pre- and post- events activities and preparations of the clients to make sure that they are complying with the rules and regulations of the venue
-Conduct physical inspections and repairs of the facility, grounds, premises, hallways, common areas, restrooms, etc. noting anything that might be in need of repair, maintenance, clean-up, or is a hazard.
- During events this person needs to be there for technical support and they need to also assist the crews and protect our building
What you’ll need to be:
-Flexible with work schedule. As client events happen in different times, you need to make yourself available when clients need to visit the venue and during the actual event.
-Physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching and lifting
-Organized and detailed-oriented
-Able to work in minimum supervision and is comfortable in coordinating with different people using different communication platform
What you’ll need to have:
-At least 2 years experience in managing and maintaining facilities, event venue, meeting or co-working spaces
-Strong working knowledge of commercial MEP systems, specifically HVAC, plumbing, fire and life safety systems and electrical distribution networks
-At least 2 years of experience in doing custodial and facilities maintenance, repair and renovation work.
-Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
-Ability to use computers for work order processing, e-mail communications, etc.
