Led Zeppelin II (1969) vinyl record.
This is a U.S. 1969, first pressing, otherwise known as the ROBERT LUDWIG HOT STAMPER. A skinny "RL" and an extremely faint "SS" (Sterling Sound) etched in the runoff area of both sides confirm this. This copy was manufactured by Monarch Record Manufacturing Company. Please refer to my posted photos.
Disc:
"Fair". Plenty of scratches and scuffs on both sides. Noisy on all tracks. Skips on "What Is and What Should Never Be". I doubt this has ever been cleaned, so I'm sure a thorough wash cycle in a record cleaning machine, such as an Ultrasonic cleaner, would remove most of the 55 year old dirt and reduce the amount of background noise.
Gatefold jacket and inner sleeve:
"Fair". No splits but jacket's top edges are very worn/frayed. Moderate cornerwear. Foxing near spine. Original paper inner sleeve is very worn, creased, and completely split.
