This unit was used in my personal system for the past ten years. It has produced the very best redbook sound I've ever heard. Incredibly smooth; none of that digital edge. It's largely due to the Delta Sigma 2 DAC and the fact that this is a rebadged mbl CDP-2 (which retailed for $2,000 from the high end german manufacturer back in 2005). The Onix CD-1 also weighs 24lbs with an all metal body, and tri-point rubber isolating feet at each corner. They do not make any cd players of this quality anymore, and this will easily last you another 20 years or more. I purchased this new directly from AV123 (remember them?) when they were importing Onix products directly from Europe.
If you prefer a smooth and warm sounding audiophile CD player, this is the one. Comes with original all metal remote (built like a tank!) and a free, made in the USA, 4ft interconnect cable from signal cable (an $80 value alone). More info on the interconnect here: http://signalcable.com/analogtwo.html
I am rating it a 7/10 due to some cosmetic scuffs on the top and faceplate. I ca take additional pictures upon requests. It is in very good shape otherwise and works flawlessly.
Since this player was produced in a limited run, there's not many professional reviews out there. Here's what I could come up with:
Local pickup only. Venmo, or PayPal only (no cash payment unless meeting at a bank or police station). I am an honest seller and do my best to describe items accurately. I expect an honest buyer will appreciate this.

Positive Feedback Review: " It delivers a lush, highly musical sound, with a wonderful sense of weight, pace, and authority matched with a gorgeous high-end appearance that few players in its price range can match. If you are looking for a Redbook player in the CD-1's price range, it definitely must be considered. - Fown-Ming Tien"
