In the early 80s, smaller versions of traditional components were all the rage. This is a midrange Aiwa amp, just over 12 inches wide and weighs a TON - always a sign of quality. Big, heavy, old school transformers. Typical Aiwa 1980s design - always one step ahead of Sony. Built-in am/fm radio and equalizer, tape in/out, aux. Made in Japan. 50 watts.
I work on these as a hobby. I have cleaned up the relays, pots, and contacts and verified it all works and sounds good, but, if you hate it just return it.
Will take trade-ins for broken tape decks, turntables, and other mechanical devices - or anything interesting to fix.
