The Rabbit Hole Children’s Theater is looking for energetic, imaginative, and reliable Weekend Performers/Storytellers to join our Mobile Parties team! If you love working with children, stepping into character, and bringing magic to life through creative play, this is the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do
Perform at mobile birthday parties and special events across San Francisco and the greater Bay Area
Lead kids through interactive storytelling, dress-up, face-painting, and playful theater-based activities
Bring characters to life with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism
Set up simple party materials and help create a magical experience for families
Work independently or with another performer, depending on the booking
Requirements
Must have weekend daytime availability
Must be able to perform and travel around the Bay Area for events
A natural entertainer who loves working with kids ages 3–8
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable being the “lead” at an event
Confident with improvisation and jumping into character
Nice-to-Have
Theater or performance background
Experience with kids (teaching, babysitting, camps, etc.)
Face-painting or basic makeup skills (we’ll train you!)
Compensation
Flat rate: $225.00 per character role or party helper position
Paid training included
