Who We Are
Camp 4K, launched in 2016, fosters the next generation of innovators with dynamic programs in Arts & Technology and Sports & Recreation for incoming 1st to 7th graders. Our low student-teacher ratio enhances learning and helps build a strong sense of community. At Camp 4K, we encourage kids to explore their creativity and imagination while developing valuable life skills and making lifelong memories.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring LEAD INSTRUCTORS and CO-INSTRUCTORS for our SCREEN PRINTING, BUILDING TRADES, CULINARY, CODING, and FILM classes for the upcoming 2026 summer season. We also need several GENERAL COUNSELORS to support students in the classroom.
👉 Teaching experience with school-age children (1st to 7th grade) is REQUIRED.
👉 Candidates must have strong classroom management skills and the ability to keep kids engaged and energized throughout the day.
Lead Instructors will:
• Plan and teach project-based lessons.
• Lead and participate in all camp activities.
• Ensure a fun, safe, and meaningful experience for every camper.
Assistant Instructors will:
• Support lead instructors with lessons and activities.
• Help supervise and engage with campers throughout the day.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• We’re looking for high-energy, creative, and compassionate individuals who love working with kids and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Camp Dates
📅 June 8 – June 26, 2026
🚫 No camp on June 19 (Juneteenth)
Orientation, Training, and Set-Up on June 5th-6th
Requirements/Qualifications
✔️ Instructors must be 18 years or older
✔️ Instructors available to work Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (~35 hours/week)
✔️ Counselors available to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (~40 hours/week)
✔️ Teaching experience and strong classroom management skills are a must
✔️ Experience with school-age children in an educational or recreational setting
✔️ Knowledge of arts, crafts, and group activities
✔️ Excellent leadership and communication skills
✔️ Positive attitude, dependable, and compassionate
✔️ CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to certify before summer)
