Precious Fur Cat Sitting provides professional care for felines in the San Francisco and East Bay areas. We are currently seeking SEASONAL (now thru New Years) employees in several neighborhoods for part-time employment, with the potential for ongoing placement.
NOTE: To be considered for any employment at this time, you must be available for at least six daily 30-minute client visits November 22-30 AND December 20-January 3.
We offer a flexible schedule, in-person training, and managerial support for client interfacing. This job is puurrrfect for students, artists and other self-employed individuals, retirees and stay-at-home parents looking for a fun, supplemental side-job.

Compensation and benefits:
~All personnel are employees paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
~Pay starting at $16.00 per 30-minute sit ($21.33 effective hourly)
~Holiday bonus pay

~The potential for client tips
We are ONLY hiring if you:
~currently live in San Francisco or the East Bay.
~have reliable transportation and a reliably working smart phone with a functional camera and cellular data plan.
~absolutely love animals (most especially cats).
-are fully available to work the weeks around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We are looking for people with:

~the ability to sit on the floor for hours a day with cats, bending and lifting cat-related supplies or client package deliveries (up to 40 lbs).
Experience working with animals as a volunteer in animal shelters, a cat groomer, a registered vet tech experience or other medical experience is a big plus!

What the job entails:
-Regularly communicating with the Precious Fur management team regarding scheduling and availability
-Visiting client homes for 30 or 60 minutes per day (per client) to feed, change water, clean litter, brush, play with and snuggle our clients' cats
-Occasionally medicating cats following detailed instructions
-Must be comfortable visiting someplace you have never been before (client’s home) finding their cat, food, water and litter based on instructions the client provides
-Must be confident in navigating the city to visit multiple client homes in a day
-Should also be comfortable on camera- many of our clients have in-home security cameras for keeping an eye on their cat.
-Must be comfortable downloading and using apps, as that is how we assign you to clients and how you will send updates after visiting the kitties.
-Follow instructions exactly- the client will provide directions on how to take care of their cats or use their keys
-Stopping by the office to pick up and drop off keys as needed
