These 1969 Mustang Hardtop cars were made two weeks apart in November, 1968, at the former Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant at San Jose, California.
THE RED-COLORED 1969 MUSTANG HARDTOP
The red-colored 1969 Mustang Hardtop has the original 302 cubic inch engine, the C-4 3-speed automatic transmission and the standard 8 inch rear end. A newly rebuilt 1965 Ford Mustang 289 cubic inch High-Performance engine with headers has been installed in the red-colored Mustang, while the original engine is in a box on a pallet. The engine bay and trunk were stripped and repainted several years ago. This is a rolling Mustang that needs exterior and interior restoration, with a rust-free former California foundation. I would like to execute a cash deal of $8,500.00 for the red-colored Mustang with the crated 302 engine. If you want the High-Performance 289 engine then add $3500.00 for a total of $12,000.00.
THE GREEN-COLORED 1969 MUSTANG HARDTOP
The green-colored 1969 Mustang Hardtop has the original 302 cubic inch engine, the C-4 3-speed automatic transmission and the standard 8 inch rear end. The green-colored BLACK PLATE MUSTANG is RARE as it retains the Original 1969 California License Plate that is on the California Certificate of Title! Register the Mustang in CA and drive it with the Original 1969 California License Plate! Both cars need interior restoration, and I have some parts such as a black carpet, black head liner, extra instrument panel, etc. that are included with the cars. I am working on the green-colored 1969 Mustang and in a week I will have it starting, running and driving. At that point, the price will go up. I am asking $16,000.00 for the green-colored Mustang.
Important Note: I am amenable to a partial trade for a 1992-1996 F150, and or a 1992-1997 F250 or F350 4x4 truck. A manual transmission is preferred but an automatic will do. The truck should have a clean title, good exterior/interior and good running condition, no beaters please. The value of your truck will be deducted from the cost for the Mustang(s). Contact me with any questions. As time permits, I will continue restoration of these California Pony's and the value of the cars will appreciate. If you have viewed Craigslist.org and other websites, you may note that there are very few 1969 Mustangs for sale, as these are rapidly becoming Rare Classic Cars!
