Hello everybody

I've owned this car for 4 years since Dec 2016 (usage period 134k-147k miles). I ideally wanted this vehicle to be my baby/street/track/project car and have built it with a no expenses spared attitude in mind but have since upgraded to different cars and now have different priorities in life. Time and parking space is scarce in the city so that definitely does not help. Most work was done by me and the major important work was done by BMW specialist shop Performance Technic and BMW dealer.

Pros: Car is turn key, drives well, reliable, oil analysis done on a few oil change by blackstone oil labs and numbers/results are excellent. I'll be honest, i tracked this car for a little shake down once at laguna seca in 2019 with street tires (Michelin pilot super sport tires) so nothing crazy. The car as is currently has solid subframe and differential bushings, the front control arm rubber bushing was swapped in favor of solid bushings. Solid bushings are very common modifications on these cars for enhanced feel and direct communication with the road, so common and well received in fact, the next generation M3 F8X and newer actually eliminated the subframe bushing all together with no penalty to comfort. Car had quite a bit of mods at one point but i took a few pieces off such as coilovers/exhaust/big brake kit to make it easier to sell the car. A lot of maintenance/mods especially the solid bushings and rod bearing job alone would run you 7-9k just in labor. If you were to tally all the other labor including the misc maintenance items such as water pump, throttle actuator etc, it would easily run you 10k+ so you are saving a lot of money in that aspect. Current oil analysis after rod bearing change 10k miles later shows excellent numbers and very low wear that is even better than averages out there (The oil analyzed even had 1 track day and plenty of street driving on it as well).

Cons: This car in its current form is not for everyone and is more suited towards enthusiasts. Will need new front tires soon. Might as well change the oe competition package wheels too? Electronic damper control no longer works (I have KW coilovers if you want to put them back on the car). Air bag light turns on due to rear seat belts being removed for half cage (OE parts will be included if you want to remove the cage). Small exhaust leak on the exhaust manifold gasket, only present for around 30 seconds on hard cold start up and goes away completely. This car with differential bushings swapped to solid does emit quite a bit of gear whine at higher speeds, just as a heads up.
