MUST GO BY 12/31, otherwise it goes to Carvana. For Sale: 2008 Audi S5. It’s an AWD, 6-speed manual, 4.2L V8 with low mileage at 83,750 miles. It has a clean title, clean Carfax, no lien, and a valid smog certificate for vehicle transfer is in hand. Registration renewed this past June. No open recalls. It is a fast car that handles twisty Route 1 with ease, and did very well in the snow on a few ski trips to Tahoe and Mammoth. This car is fun. It has pretty much every option available for its year, other than the parking/ driving assist tech (does have backup camera). Black exterior and interior.

Primary radiator and thermostat were recently replaced. New high pressure fuel pumps. Starter was replaced a while back, which will save you from suffering the 4k bill. Both catalytic converters were replaced a while back as part of a recall.

The upper and lower front control arms should be replaced. They make noise under slow speed maneuvering, like parking or slow, tight turns, but it drives fine and without noise once you’re underway. The oil pan gasket has a slow drip leak or two.

NEW Asking price is $8,450. It’s the lowest priced S5 I can find for sale in the Bay Area. Selling as-is, no warranty, returns or delivery options. Cash only, or process payment through my AutoTrader or eBay Motors ad.

Body, tires, brakes, etc, are all generally in fair-to-good condition. Bumpers have “city damage” from parking-challenged people in other cars. Someone stole the “S5” badge from the grill, which damaged the plastic of the grill. There are some chips in the paint at the front from highway gravel getting tossed up. Interior is good, but the driver’s seat has the usual wear/ tear on the outside edge, plus some leather shrinkage under the driver’s rump.

For an extra $200, I’ll include the OEM roof rack base.
