All major services done, doesn’t leak any oil. Upper and lower radiator hoses just replaced *common failure on the M54* DISA Valve replaced with a metal kit from GAS, brand new coolant expansion tank. Tires have plenty of tread, brakes are at 10mm on front and 8mm on rear which is around 100% and 80%. Mechanic says transmission fluid needs to be changed soon. Only issue is the radio/head unit doesn’t work which is the CCC unit a common problem on these E60’s. Can be easily replaced on your own and taken to a shop for coding, they cost around $1-200 on eBay or can be cheaper at a junk yard. You can still use the dipstick to check oil since this isn’t the N52. No other issues. All of the maintenance and preventative maintenance you can do your research on and find out what I did to make this car reliable, the CCC unit which is the NAV/Radio a common cheap fix is also all over the internet on forums as well. Please do your research if you are not familiar with these cars. Oil change was done 1000 miles ago with Liqui Moly 5W-40 and Mann Filter.
Miles will go up longer this is posted as this is my daily
