This 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 coupe powered by a 3.4L flat six was purchased used from a seller in Sacramento area at 114xxx miles. Carfax shows it was first purchased in Santa Monica, then moved to three more owners in the bay area. It's been a fantastic weekend car for me, never commuted with it, garaged indoors. I'm selling it because I don't really drive it much and I'm looking to buy a more practical car instead. The car comes with manufacturer's literature, maintenance documents, front license plate and holder, and front sun shade
-Full black leather interior
-6 speed manual transmission
-Supple leather front and rear
-Comfort package (power seats, adjustable lumbar, driver side memory)
-19" turbo look wheels
-advanced technic package (lithronic Bi-Xenon, 6 CD changer, tape deck too)
-Nokia DSP (Digital Sound Processing) audio system
maintenance and work done:
-IMS bearing and clutch replacement - 2014 @75,000 miles
-Spark plugs, battery - 2017 @ 110,000 miles
-Michelin Pilot sport 4S - 115,774 miles
-oil change - 115, 265miles
-Transmission fluid - 115,774 miles
-short shifter - Aug 4 2019
I have more maintenance and records for everything in a folder.
Some things to note:
-one working key only and keyless entry doesn't work. I have another key that I got cut but never got a chance to program it.
-scratches and dings on exterior. I'm not even sure how most of them got there. It seems like parking lot incidents. not too noticeable unless you're looking for it.
-cv boot small tear. When I had it serviced last, the mechanic noticed a tear in the front cv joint boots on left and right side. It should be replaced.
-needs new brakes. The brake pads and rotors are worn so they should be switched out. I'm guessing around 5-10% left all around.
-small chips in wind shield.
-driver side seat heater doesn't work. I bought it this way. I'm not sure what's up with it.
