1971 Ford Mustang

VIN: 1F05M1....
condition: like new
cylinders: 8 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
paint color: white
title status: clean
transmission: manual

Factory “M” code 351 4V Cleveland, wide ratio Top Loader 4-speed, N-case 3.50 :1 Traction-Lok, tilt steering. This is a true, numbers matching Mach 1 (block 3 months off). This is not a “want to be” fast back clone. 2018 Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals Award Winner. Restoration was completed in May 2018. Everything was disassembled. All PPG products used. Motor was done proper. Rotating assembly balanced, bored .03 over, forged pistons, Smith Bros. oil restricted moly push rods, Rhoads lifters, SS valves, bronze guides…and little tricks to improve performance and durability. Don’t buy from one of those outfits that don’t know the important information. I have 35 years of experience with Boss 1’s & Mach 1’s. All receipts, Marti report, and history are in hand. If you are looking at these cars, this is the one you want. 1971 is the last year of the Ford muscle era. Period. The last year of the high compression V-8’s. Starting in 1972, compression and hp dropped and weight went up. Much effort went into maintaining important originality. But also, some custom “bolt on’s” for my vision of this build. I have parts and advice, depending on what direction you want to take this car.
