I have a very well kept Born in Bowling Green, KY, but raised as a California, 2001 Corvette C5 Coupe in Light Pewter Metallic over Black leather. It's a beautiful color that is a combination of gold-silver-bronze and is hard to describe. The great thing about this colorway is that it will still look clean when it gets dirty.

No leaks, starts right up, and no smoke coming from any of the 4 tailpipes. Beautiful "throat" when you depress the gas but more importantly the car intuitively responds and torques you forward (unlike the 1 second spooling of a turbo 4). The Targa top is the dark tinted model and the trunk is designed to hold it when you want to drive in the open air.
We recently did an oil and filter service at a reputable Corvette mechanic (he does a lot of car club vehicles) and a detail. Clean Carfax with several service records at Chevrolet dealerships. Has a history of a 100% smog pass rate. Tires are nice Michelins with plenty of tread. Great cruising car for the weekends at a price that won't break the bank. This car is or near the bottom of it's depreciation curve where it will soon stabilize and start creeping up.
a couple of small rock chips on hood that can easily be touched up
the "v" in "Corvette" on the front license plate cover is a bit chipped
