Hi,
We're The Deep Cuts. We play rock n' roll covers from the 70's to the 00's. We're the 'Deep Cuts' because we specialize in little known songs written and recorded by famous artists. Most cover bands play a nonstop string of hits. We're doing something a little different.
We're available for private events, parties, and shows. We can play for three to four hours so if you need an interesting band to add some flare to your event or party please reach out. Our rates are flexible. We're based in San Francisco but we travel all around the Bay Area.
We're also available for shows at venues. Are you a touring band that had a local band cancel for a show that's happening in two days? Are you just starting out and do you need a third band to complete a bill for a show? Do hesitate to contact us. We can play heavier rock n' roll and we can also do lighter rock.
If you're interested in booking us please email us via this ad or find us on instagram (@thedeepcutssf).

The Deep Cuts play a selection of rock n’ roll songs from the 1970s through the early 2000s. They blend the mystic acid rock encompassed in The Doors with 90’s alternative rock evidenced by The Stone Temple Pilots and Helmet. Some goth metal might be heard via Mellon Collie-era Smashing Pumpkins as well as early 2000s post punk by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Songs by legendary 70’s post punk band, Joy Division, can be heard right alongside songs by a Sunset strip glam metal band like Guns N’ Roses. Even though The Deep Cuts explore several genres and decades everything is unified by their enigmatic and versatile lead singer, Colin O’Hara, and backed by powerful guitar provided by Phil McNamara. The quartet is balanced out by an expert and dynamic rhythm section in Andreas Gutierrez on bass and Nathan Driver on drums. Come experience the joy, wonder and power of four decades of rock n’ roll on full display in all of its glory. You won’t be disappointed.
