Being an Instructor of the Arts, as well as an Artist in the business for over 30 years, I hold the highest integrity of artistic standards having worked for the Walt Disney Company. I have taught students of all ages from grade school, high school through college.

I have been mentoring students and artists since 1997, and consistently have outstanding results. I would be happy to show you the high scores I rank as an exceptional Instructor in the Bay area having taught at several schools, including the Art Academy and Art Institutes since January 2003.
I have also taught at Ex'pression College in Emeryville and Center for Electronic Arts in SF.
I have worked with Disney On-Line as an Art & Animation Director and Producer for about twenty Flash animated shorts and Disney I.D.E.A.S. as a freelance Conceptual Artist; profoundly studying commercial media arts for many years, and would enjoy the chance to work with individuals who share this passion of art taken to the next level; and then to the next one after that.

BIO:
Chris has been working as a commercial and underground Artist since the 1980s, and has attended School of Visual Arts in NYC. Working as a professional Artist and Animator for over twenty-five years, he studied under (the late great inventor of Mad Magazine) Harvey Kurtzman, as well as Gene Colan, Doug Irwin, Charles Burns, Mad’s Director Sam Viviano, and the legendary Will Eisner. He has also worked with Disney Online as an Animator, Writer, Producer, Art / Animation Director, and Musical Director. Other clients include: Cartoon Network, Warner Bros, DC comics, World Wrestling Federation, Hasbro toys, Walt Disney World, Disney Production Services/MGM, Lone Star Café, Hard Rock Café, Miller Beer, Hot Tuna, Rain Forest Action Network, as well as Actors, Frank Gorshin and Woody Harrelson.
He has trained many folks into Disney quality Animators, Designers, and Feature Film Background Painters. Chris teaches courses in Fundamentals of drawing, Life drawing, Characterization, Cartooning, Storyboarding, Traditional Animation, Flash Computer Animation, Image Manipulation, Color Theory, and Business promotion/marketing. In the indusry currently working as a freelance Conceptual Artist / Lighting and Show Designer for Disney & experiology, an Animation Director and Character Designer for Toonwerks, as well as environmental concerns.
