This is a new genre of entertainment, BurnPunk. Heavily inspired by the author’s experience at Burning Man. Set in an alternative history of the January 6th insurrection, the story is heavily inspired by Mad Max. The story is called, America Ascending.

Here is the synopsis

After an armed insurrection at the U.S. capital succeeds, the nation is in chaos with a lingering pandemic. Unknown to US officials what appears like a grassroots movement, “Stop The Steal, Save The Second Amendment,” was orchestrated by a cyber warfare campaign by Russian PMC, The Wagner Group.

Raymond “Sting Ray” Robbins, a former Blackwater operative, with a turbulent past, accidently starts a social media movement that goes viral, making Ray a celebrity influencer and reluctant leader of “Make America Inspired Again,” all in the period of one hour.

As Ray’s social media influence grows, so does the FBI’s interest in Ray’s mysterious connection to the KGB and the Cold War. While putting Ray with internal turmoil with PTSD, midlife, new level of fame and influence, and a journey to discover his mysterious origins.
