Python/AWS Contractor Needed for Lead Pipeline + Voicemail Campaign

I’m looking to hire a developer to make an adjustment to an existing lead generation pipeline.
The current pipeline already purchases/pulls new leads and sends an initial outreach through Drop Cowboy. I need help expanding it into a multistage follow-up campaign that sends different text messages and voicemail recordings on different days.
The campaign stages would be: Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, Day 14, Day 21
Each stage should be able to send a voicemail and text message with a different message/recording depending on the day.
The next thing I want handled carefully is the opt-out experience. Since voicemail does not have a clickable unsubscribe link like email, I want a dependable way to honor requests from people who do not want to be contacted again.
The system should include:
- A permanent suppression list for anyone who opts out
- Continued support for the existing rolling 14-day suppression window (to prevent duplicate campaign entries)
- Logic to prevent opted-out contacts from receiving future texts or voicemails
- A way to track what campaign stage each lead is currently in
- A way to skip future follow-ups if someone opts out, responds, or is manually marked as no longer eligible
- Clear instructions in the voicemail/text workflow for how a recipient can stop future contact, such as texting STOP
The project involves working with:
- Python
- AWS Lambda and S3
- Drop Cowboy API
- Existing lead pipeline logic
- SMS and ringless voicemail campaign tracking
- Documentation of how the project works
I already have the general structure and message schedule planned out as well as the text message and voicemail copy which as already been uploaded to DropCowboy. These will be provided once the project starts. I’m looking for someone who can review the existing code, recommend the cleanest implementation, and make the updates in a way that is easy to maintain later. You must be able to document the features that have been added in the Read Me so that our team can stay up to date on the new changes.
We would also like a separate quote for making a dashboard that would allow for non-technical staff to overview the pipeline and manage payments for each account. This can be discussed once we share the source code.
