Pickup Baseball (SF All Bay Area)

Want to play some real baseball? Fastballs, curveballs, line drives, pop flies, double plays and pine tar?
All ages over 18 are welcome.
Games are on holiday weekends during the spring/summer and fall seasons then weekly, weather permitting, from the end of the MSBL fall season in early December to opening day in April.
Every pickup game features amateur players of all ages from the various Bay Area adult baseball leagues.
I’m 58, we’ve got some in their mid 60s, some are early 20s with the majority between 30 and 45. It’s a mix of ages and talents.
Pitching speeds vary from upper 30s to upper 70s with the average around 60+, I’d guess.
You will need to have your own equipment: Batting helmet, wood bat, glove/mitt, metal or plastic spikes, etc…
Games are Sundays in San Francisco.
Games include one paid umpire and plenty of fresh pearls.
Cost is $15, occasionally $20 if we’re short.
Pickup games are an excellent, no-pressure way to get back into baseball. It’s also a good way to find a team for the spring/summer season.
