Up for sale is a genuine piece of World War II naval history. These aren't your standard hardware store pliers—these are specialized Berylco P103 non-sparking pliers, issued to the British Royal Navy during the height of the conflict.
During WWII, the Royal Navy operated in high-stakes environments where a single spark meant disaster. These pliers were forged from Beryllium Copper (BeCu) specifically because the alloy is non-sparking and non-magnetic.
They were essential kit for:
