Vintage UPPER MARKET STREET GALLERY, SF, Paintings by Stephanie Polos 20" Poster
The Upper Market Street Gallery, open circa 1971–1983 at 2323 Market St. between Castro and Noe streets in the Castro District. The gallery was founded by Ronald "Ron" Jehu and friends, including Wylie Wong (Asian Art & Antiquities). Performance artists Divine and Sylvester staged shows at the gallery. Robert Mapplethorpe exhibited at the Jehu-Wong Gallery, a descendant of the Upper Market Street Gallery.
