For Sale: San Francisco Opera 1999–2000 Double-Sided Banners (Pair) – Rare City Display
Rare matching pair of authentic San Francisco Opera double-sided street display banners from the 77th Season (September 11, 1999 – July 2, 2000). These heavy-duty vinyl banners were professionally produced for mounting on city lamp posts throughout San Francisco — never made available to the public.
Each banner is double-sided, featuring one side with the full season lineup (Un Ballo in Maschera, Louise, La Favorite, Lucia di Lammermoor, Wozzeck, Idomeneo, Nabucco, La Bohème, Don Giovanni, The Rake’s Progress, Parsifal) and the reverse side with musical notes (Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Go).
Each measures approximately 30 inches wide x 94 inches tall, with reinforced hems and grommets for mounting. They show light dirt and dust accumulation from prior outdoor display, but no tears or major staining — should clean up easily with a gentle wipe. Perfect for display in a music room, studio, gallery, or as collectible San Francisco art.
