This is an original University of Nebraska felt pennant featuring the classic “Go Go Big Red” slogan and Herbie Husker character, alongside the university seal dated 1869. The style and design suggest a 1960s-era piece, making it a great collectible for Cornhuskers fans and college sports memorabilia collectors.
The pennant measures about 29" long and displays very nicely. Colors remain bold and graphics are sharp. Condition is very good overall with some light creasing from age and handling (See photos). On the back, there is a handwritten name (“Rod Campbell”), which does not show through to the front side.
A wonderful vintage display item for Nebraska Cornhuskers alumni, Big Red fans, or collectors of old college sports pennants.
