241+ Postcards in 18 Folios of Russia USSR 1960-87 Moscow Leningrad Ba - $15 (SOMA / south beach)

Clementina St near 4th street

google map

This is a lot of 241 chrome postcards in 18 folios. All are from the former Soviet Union, mostly Russia. Most have some English text, either inside the cover or on the backs of the postcards.

None have been posted and all are in excellent to near mint condition with minor corner wear, a few have writing some in pencil

I had more photos but as you can see, some of them were damaged upon upload. I would take more photos but the box is already packed. The photos will give you an idea of the items in this lot. Each photo shows the cover (folder) and 2-3 samples from inside. The cards are in excellent condition, some very beautiful Russian architecture and interiors.

I did make a list of what's included so even without all the photos you will know what is in the box.

please note that the number of postcards in each folio may differ by 1 many times. I think, but am not sure, that the cover is counted as 1 of the total which brings it to a match about 95% of the time. The others might count images in the total and the cover could have up to 3 photos, which would bring those to a match. For the purpose of this listing, I counted only individual postcards inside the folder. I did not count the folders in the total.

Suzdal Architecture 14 postcards
Petrodvorets - The Great Palace 17 postcards
Environs Leningrad - Landmarks 15 postcards published in 1983
Suzdal Landmarks 13 postcards published in 1981
Lomonosov - Parks and Gardens 12 postcards published in 1984
Petrodvorets - Palace interiors 18 postcards published in 1987
Moscow - the Capitol of the Soviet Union 11 postcards in English with "Visit the USSR" on the backs this is the only 4x6 set
Leningrad Landmarks 15 postcards published in 1986
Leningrad all in Russian 18 postcards published in 1974 this is the only 3x5 set
Moscow all in Russian 18 postcards published in 1985
Tashkent all in Russian 13 postcards published in 1983
Ajima-Ata Kazakhstan 18 postcards published in 1984
Leningrad Landmarks English text 17 postcards published in 1984
Baki Baku Azerbaijan 10 postcards
Zagorsk Museum of History and Art English text 12 postcards published in 1982
Moscow Russian only 10 postcards
plus 2 others all in Russian one is shown in the photos with artist drawn images which look like some sort of expo or event, published in 1962, the other is all in Russian and appear to be landmarks in a city. They each have 10 postcards

Most of the postcards are slightly larger than 3x5 but smaller than 4x6. My count could be off by about 10, so there are between 240 and 250 postcards in the 18 folios. All are chrome and in color except the one from 1962 which is a matte finish.
