We provide vibrant entertainment, food and drink experiences in the heart of San Francisco, and are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on General Manager to lead our team and ensure our guests always leave happy.
Position Overview:
The General Manager will be the cornerstone of daily operations. This role includes overseeing all front and back-of-house activities, maintaining high standards of service, managing P&L and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. This is an entry-level position
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in management or related field (university senior year student is ok). This is an entry-level position
Excellent organizational skills
Extroverted and engaged personality
Strong technical skills. This is a tech heavy position, managing two POS systems along with inventory and payroll applications
Strong understanding of utilizing social media to promote business
Strong understanding of inventory control and budgeting processes.
Strong understanding of financial analysis
Light bar tending experience is ideal but not a dis-qualifier.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Train and oversee all front-of-house staff to ensure top-notch service and a friendly atmosphere.
Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed.
Execute payroll duties accurately and manage administrative tasks to keep the business on track.
Foster a positive and happy work culture and environment, leading by example and ensuring team morale is high.
Keep a sharp eye on inventory and ensure proper stock levels are maintained while effectively managing COGS
Develop and manage budgets, optimizing costs while maximizing service quality.
Utilize POS systems (Toast/Canteloupe) for order processing and cash handling.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Compensation:
$69,000 annually
