Cosmos was among Mavic’s upper end offerings at the time, with the focus on strength and speed rather than weight. They track straight and true. Laterally stiff offering great power transfer, but still ride comfortably. Throughout time the model’s name varied and was known as Cosmic, Helium, Cosmos later evolving into Ksyrium/Axium line.
Wheels are Anodized grey with black spokes. These would work great as replacement wheels, or for restoration of road bikes from 1995-2008. The color of anodizing is very close to the natural color of titanium, making them a great replacement/upgrade/ second wheel-set option if you have a ti bike like Merlin, Litespeed, Linskey, Seven Moots etc,
The cassette hub body is Shimano/SRAM 8-10 speed compatible.
I am a self employed bike mechanic and I collect and restore vintage road bikes. You are welcome to just pick them up or I could also install them for you if you need help (transfer cassette, tires, reset the derailleur limits etc.)
