part type: wheels and wheel parts
This is a sharp-looking, low-mileage set of Easton EA50 Aero 700c clincher wheels—true, smooth-spinning, and ready to ride. No dents, no hops, no issues. A great all-around or training wheelset with just enough aero profile to give you a little extra speed without adding unnecessary weight.

These wheels feature 30mm deep rims laced with black bladed steel spokes—20 up front, 24 in the rear—paired with red anodized Easton hubs and a Shimano-compatible alloy freehub body (8, 9, or 10-speed compatible). Hub spacing is standard: 130mm rear, 100mm front. A perfect match for a modern-classic aluminum or steel road bike.

Easton hand-laced and trued all their wheels at the time, and the quality shows. The hubs spin on smooth cartridge bearings, and the rims have CNC-machined brake tracks with wear indicators that show minimal use.

Originally sold for around $400, these were built to last. Solid value for anyone looking for a fast, good-looking, and durable wheelset - at the price of some generic Amazon 700c wheels.

I’m a mechanic and vintage road bike collector, and happy to help with installation or drivetrain setup if needed. Feel free to reach out if you’re ready to roll.
