The rims have a 17mm internal width, offering a nice balance of comfort and performance, and are laced to wide-flange hubs for added strength and better power transfer. The rear hub is Shimano HG-compatible for 11-speed, and can run a 10-speed cassette with a spacer (not included). Designed for rim brakes and standard quick-release axles: 100mm front and 130mm rear.
They use Shimano’s classic cup-and-cone bearings, which are easy to service and sealed well to handle rougher weather and road conditions. Front has 20 spokes, rear 24. Includes rim tape, ready to mount your tires and ride.
Tires are not included
Total wheelset weight is about 1930g, and they retail for around $190 + tax new.
At $145, they’re a great value if you want something tougher and more dependable than generic budget wheels, but without the high price tag of high-end race sets.
