Mixte bikes were developed in France and designed for riders who wanted to ride fast while maybe wearing a skirt. This version is from San Francisco's own SOMA bikes and was my wife's favorite for around town riding...right up until she had a lung transplant a couple years ago. She's doing GREAT now (thanks for asking) and is itching to get back on the bike, but at this stage in her recovery she wants a bike with a little bit of electric oomph so we're parting ways with this beauty.
Some reviews for your consideration:

It should comfortably fit riders from 5 feet tall to about 5-6, with the current handlebars, and riders up to 5-8 or so if you switched to drop bars or something with a bit less of a swept back design.
This bike was built from the frame up with great components: Sugino 75 crank, Deore hubs on Sturdy Sun rims, tough but supple Continental Gatorskins for excellent flat protection, a comfy, Sugino 75 Crankset, SOMA Porteur front rack, Axiom rear rack, and lots of other little touches. Oh, and that wide, spring Brooks saddle is way more comfy and stylish than those over-padded modern monstrosities.
Does it look new? Hell no. Is it a bit scuffed and scratched? Yes. This little lady has been around the block, but is recently tuned up and ready to ride.
This is a quality bike, in great running condition and offered at a fair price. I am negotiable, but only for buyers willing to come out and give it a quick ride.
