Originally designed as a cyclocross race bike, riders have found the CAADX greatly capable of crushing gravel and commuting. The geometry is relaxed enough to take it on longer distance rides. Lightweight aluminum frame / carbon fiber fork, built up with Shimano 105 2x11 speed STI drivetrain. FSA compact 46/36t crank and 11-28t cassette. Shifting is nice and crisp. Mechanical Disk brakes are smooth and responsive. bullet proof WTB 700c wheels are true and spin smooth. 35mm Tires have plenty of life left. there is room in the frame for wider tires up to 38mm.
