Bike is built with a lightweight aluminum frame with a sloping top tube for added clearance and geometry that allows the kid to “grow into it". Mechanical disc brakes, that will stop reliably in any weather. It features a simple 1x8 speed drivetrain with a 28t crank and 11-34t cassette. No front shifting to worry about, making it easy for kids to focus on riding, not gear confusion. The extra-wide 2.8" tires help smooth out bumps, add grip on loose terrain, and give the bike a stable, forgiving feel on or off-road.
Sized to fit kids roughly 4'2" to 4'10" tall (typically ages 8–12), with an inseam between 24–28 inches. Bike is in excellent condition—everything works perfectly and it’s ready to ride.
This model retailed for over $600 with tax in 2023. Trek no longer offers 24” disk brake kids bikes. Their Trek wahoo trail – a 20” disk kids bike - sells for $700 now.
$335 is a solid deal for a lightly used, professionally built kids MTB with disc brakes and real trail potential.
