1981 Raleigh Roadster 3 speed, second owner, stored many years. Sturmey-Archer 3 speed, 1980 date on housing. Full fenders. Chainguard. Original diamond-pattern saddle. Original bright red paint is lined with gold around steel lugs.
Now has brand new 26” / 590 Schwalbe tires.
Stock Raleigh front fork, also gold pinstriped around lugs.
Paint has nicks and scratches, but no dents or road rash. Wheels have original chrome plate, still in good shape.
And wheels roll as well as they ever did.
Frame size is 23”, making this a large, suitable for riders 5’ 8” and up.
Riding position is sit-up and be comfortable, helped by cork grips.
