U.S. FORCES IN AUSTRIA LICENSE PLATE.
This was my father’s, who kept it in a box in our garage. I was unaware of it until my mother passed after him. We lived in the hills of Salzburg in 1954. Back then he was an active duty Lt. Col. in the Army. Signal Corp. Back then my folks were driving a Chrysler Town And Country, and I was wearing lederhosen. Then in 1956 we came to S.F. and he worked in the Presidio headquarters building for decades. I take cash, usually meet at a cafe on Church St. between Market and 15th to to biz, when that cafe is open. (They close at 5)
