This is a very large wood carving of two bears and hawk with caught salmon carved in Hokkaido, the northern most island of Japan. The Ainu people of Hokkaido are well-known for their tradition of carving bears.

This is unique and rare piece. Measures H 30" x W 22" and likely weighs upwards of 30 lbs. Very polite work and deep taste.
