produced from virgin cut tiger oak--harvested from oak forests in the northeastern sections of the US-- the first cut forests began to run out in the late 1800's and early 1900's--a knowledgeable timber man could easily
identify virgin cut oak timber by the size of the tiger stripes (the grain of the wood) virgin cut tiger oak had never before been harvested, allowing it to grow longer and bigger--highly prized among cabinet makers

this hand bevelled mirror has four original Victorian hooks for coats and hats, ideal for an entryway in the house or for use in the bathroom for hanging towels

dimensions: 38" width
26 1/4" height

the mirror frame has been profressionally refinished with a semi gloss lacquer finish that is both resistant to damage from sunlight fading and resistant to water damage--
the mirror has been carefully removed and then re-installed with the original glue blocks which will hold the mirror securely in place for another lifetime.
